Generic Rambling Vol. 2

Hello, my fellow beauty bloggers! I hope that all of you are well on your way to finishing your Christmas shopping and preparations--I'm certainly not. Well, you just can't do it all when you are putting in 60+ hours a week at work, so I shall just have to hope there are a few things left after Christmas and do my gifting then. Anyway, this is just sorta a rambling kind of post, as I've not had the energy to do much in the way of beauty for the last several weeks. Sorry guys, but I have just been zapped mentally and physically. If you all could see the bags under my eyes...! LOL (Concealer has become my new BFF...)

Anyway, only a week and a half before the big day, and then I fully expect to be on vacation until the Monday following Christmas--at last, some time for me! I just can't wait. And it just so happens that I'm awaiting two different cosmetic orders to come in, so I should have some new stuff to play with!!! WHEEEEE!!! Don't you just love to get new makeup? I've have not yet had the opportunity to try out any of the mineral makeups, so that is what I've ordered from Aromaleigh (http://www.aromaleigh.com) and Sterling Minerals (http://www.sterlingminerals.com). Several eyeshadows, a couple of blushes, foundation and mineral finishing veil. We shall see, we shall see. I'm excited. Do any of you have a favorite mineral makeup brand that you'd be willing to tell about? By the way, I did a google search on mineral cosmetics for women of color and got several hits. I plan on ordering samples from some of these companies also in the near future: specifically Ada Cosmtics, Monave Cosmetics and Milan Minerals, to name a few. Should be a fun time; I will definitely have swatches and experimental looks for you all soon! Again, Merry Christmas and be blessed!
