I Got My New Mineral Samples!!!!

Howdy everyone! Hope the Christmas holiday went well for all of you and hope this posting finds you all well and ready to bring in the new year. Have we made our resolutions yet? Better yet, have we made resolutions that we have a better than 75% chance of making good on?!? Becuase you know that it's no good making resolutions unless you follow through on them and make a SOLID attempt to make good.

Anyway, I got my new mineral makeup samples from Aromaleigh cosmetics and Sterling Minerals right before Christmas--YYYAAAAYYYY! I was really excited 1) because I want to find out what all the hype is about mineral cosmetics and 2) I really wasn't expecting to get them before Christmas since I placed the order so late. So this was like an unexpected treat for me and I'll post some pics of the samples right now:

The pic on top shows the mineral shadows that I got from Aromaleigh Cosmetics; from left to right top row: Bluespark, LondonDungeon, Boiling Point. Bottom row: Mutiny and Velvet Goldmine. The colors are rich and vibrant and just simply gorgeous! The pic on the bottom shows the mineral foundation and mineral veil I received from Sterling Minerals; foundation color is called "Emily" and the mineral veil is in "Translucent". The texture is soft as a whisper and coverage is almost effortless. Above is a cross-post of the look and review that I did this morning using some of these products.
