Hello my LOL Lovelies! I'm back from Chi-town and am endeavoring to get back on track with my postings. Thanks so much for hanging in there with me...Sorry, I won't have any pictures with today's little spiel, I just wanted to get something out to let you all know that you weren't forgotten.
My fling with Chicago was a blast from beginning to end and I will definitely be looking towards a future trip back to that amazing place. My makeup classes were fun-filled and information-packed; in all honesty, I wish I could have stayed for a couple of more! I even got to model for several of the classes (do you know how much fun it is to sit in "the chair" and have people pamper your face?!?) Meeting Sam Fine, Reggie Wells, Joanna Schlip and others at The Makeup Show Chicago was just icing on the cake. And I must give shouts out to SanTara of The Gorgeous Ingredient, Koren Zander of Enkore Makeup, and Jennifer James of Jennifer James Beauty; it was great to finally meet some of you and renew my acquaintance with others!
Now that I'm back on home turf, it's going back to business as usual: job hunting (YUCK!!), blogging, bill paying (double yuck!), product reviews, YouTube tutorials, etc. Added to this mix is my PUSH to begin branding/building myself and my freelance makeup business; I need to set up a website and online portfolio, choose a business name and design cards, stationary, etc. WHEW!! Lots of stuff to keep me busy...oh, and did I mention that my daughter is getting married in mid-September and that yours truly is designing/making the dress? AND, I still haven't even begun to figure out what I'm going to wear to the shindig...As I said,...business as usual LOL! Anyway, must run for now, next post I promise will come with pictures!
