Good evening my Lovelies! I'm a little late in getting this post off, as I've been endeavoring to add some new things to my blog; unfortunately, one thing worked and one thing didn't work and I've spent the better part of the day trying to finesse the thing that didn't work--to no avail (darn it!)
Anyway, with it being Wednesday, it's time for me to do a "pink" manicure! Today we have Pure Ice's "First Love", a really lovely light, shimmery, pearlescent pink polish. Purchased at my local Walmart for around $2.00, I hurried home to immediately try it out. I have several other shades by Pure Ice and have been mightily pleased with all of them so far. This shade was no exception.
This shade reminded me of the inside of an abalone shell; there are hints of gold, green and lavender. This polish is very fluid and applied thinly and well--no brush marks or streakiness at all. The pictures really don't do the color justice, as the color is washed out. Two coats were used; three coats would have been absolutely no problem. The wear was excellent; no chipping for three days and VERY MINIMAL edge wear, even after five days. I think that this one is going into the favorites pile! So, what do you all think?
